Twitterati Brutally Trolls Shah Rukh Khan Of Nepotism As Aryan Khan Dubs For The Lion King
The nepotism debate is in the forefront yet again! This time, at the receiving end is Karan Johar’s good friend, Shah Rukh Khan. A section of Twitter users seem to find a fault with Aryan Khan dubbing for Simba in the Hindi remake of The Lion King
Only yesterday the news of Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan Khan dubbing for the Hindi version of The Lion King characters’ Mufasa and Simba came out, and not even one day later, some netizens have vociferously slammed King Khan of Nepotism.
Shahrukh Khan took to social media yesterday to announce that he would voice the iconic characters in Hindi along with his son Aryan Khan. Shah Rukh Khan tweeted “Glad to be a part of this journey... a timeless film. Voicing it in Hindi with my own Simba. The last time we did a film was around 15 years ago and it was ‘Incredible’ and this time around its even more fun. Hope everyone enjoys it 19th July onwards. #TheLionKing.”
While this news at first was received with a lot of praise and excitement – some Twitterati were not happy about it and pointed out the “glaringly obvious nepotism.” Take a look at what some people had to say on Twitter:
Even so, this is not the first time the netizens have slammed Shah Rukh Khan in this matter. Earlier, Shah Rukh’s daughter Suhana Khan’s cover photo on a fashion magazine brought out a lot of rage on social media and also gave an angle of nepotism to it. The film The Lion King is set to hit the theaters on July 19, in Hindi, English,Telugu and Tamil.
